Bollywood heroine Katrina Kaif has become the world’s most searched famous person in cellular videos, ahead of Britney Spears who ranked next, based to the findings of newest international video Insights description for September, , released by Vuclip, an autonomous cellular video service. The top 10 superstars globally also include India’s Kareena Kapoor (Global Rank: 4) and Sonakshi Sinha (Global Rank: 6), alongside global stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce and Shakira, a Vuclip testimonial said.

“A Bollywood heroine leading ahead of her global peers in cellular video searches worldwide is a statement to the truth that cellular videos have at last taken off in India in a big way,” said Salman Hussain, Vuclip’s vice president stated.

“Each month we notice more and more Indians viewing videos on their mobile display using not just smart phones but even simple feature phones.

Back home, Sachin Tendulkar is the most searched male superstar in cellular movies in India.

Among the most watched clips in India, topping the charts was Ajay Devgn’s joke on Kangana Ranaut’s bikini take for the film Rascals, followed by Vidya Balan’s 2 gossip video clips about The Dirty Picture.

Baba Ramdev’s reply to Rakhi Sawant’s wedding proposal too made it to the top five most watched cellular videos in India in September.

Among the top cellular devices people used to see videos globally, Apple’s iPhone sustained to lead the list. It was followed by RIM’s Blackberry handsets that secured 7 spots in the top 10 cellular devices list for September, followed by 2 Nokia phones.
