Katrina Kaif is an Indian actress appearing mainly in Bollywood Films.  She started modeling and later came to Mumbai to pursue her carrier in showbizz. Apart from many Hindi Hit movies, She has acted in Malayalam and Telgu also.

Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong to an Indian Kashmiri father, Mohammed Kaif, and an English mother, Suzanne Turquotte, both of whom are British citizens. She lived in France, Japan and China before moving to Finchley, in north London, with parents(English mum Suzanne and Indian dad Mohammed) when she was 14 years old.

Her parents divorced when she was very young. Kaif has seven siblings. Even though she was raised in Hawaii she later moved to her mother’s home country, England. This stunning size-ten star was once turned away from a UK modelling agency for being too FAT.

Katrina Kaif’s first film of 2010 was Raajneeti, where she appeared opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film did extremely well at the box office, receiving a blockbuster status. Her second movie in 2010 is Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan with Akshay Kumar. The film is set to be released on 24 December 2010.

Today Katrina is so popular bollywood star that she has become the face of the country’s first Bollywood Barbie doll. She says: “Barbie is so iconic and I was honoured to be asked. It also brings Bollywood to little girls all over India. It’s great to have that connection.”
