In the movie, Aruna plays a wife who finds out that her husband is having an affair with another woman, and she in turn sets out to have an extramarital affair with the husband of that woman. According to Aruna nudity is not the highlight of the movie. It’s only shot from sideways. She says she has absolutely “no issues” with her nude scenes in the movie which is about adultery.

Society is not willing to take extra marital affairs, they take it as accidents which happends to others. You will get shocked when it happens to you. The movie has four main characters. Mrs. Singh (Aruna Shields), an agony aunt columnist, is obviously agonized upon discovering her husband’s infidelity. Mr. Singh (Naved Aslam) and Mrs. Mehta (Lucy Hassan) are having an extra-marital affair, despite being ostensibly happy with their respective marriages. However his wife has confidence in Ashwin’s talent. Proceedings become interesting when Mrs. Singh and Mr. Mehta meet.

While he is confident in his art, in his personal life Ashwin is unable to stand up for himself. He is someone who is living on his wife’s money and loves her so much.

Considering that Bollywood has so few adult films to offer, this one’s a rare experience. In one way the film is a type of wife swapping, eventhough unintentional. Director has approached the subject with maturity and causoin, this makes the film a good one. The film seems to be generating a lot of buzz only for the kissing and the nude scenes. Even though there are many nude scenes involving Aruna Shields, she was very professional and did a wonderful job. The movie is not meant to titillate anyone so there were no vulgar scenes. Every shot is done very aesthetically.

Director Pravesh Bharadwaj leaves an open end for the viewers to exercise their own brain muscles and draw their own conclusions, not something Bollywood patrons are used to.

And there is Jewel’s young brother who tries to spy on her; Rahul (Kunchako Boban), son of Joseph’s childhood friend (Lalu Alex), who acts as Jewel’s local guardian and secretly likes her. Story takes the turn as Jewel gets into trouble with the college bad guys and rahul saves her.

The movie is carried forward in the safe hands of Urvasi and Kunchako to some extend. Urvasi performs excellent as over protective mother of the daughet. Archana of Neelathamara is carrying a big weight on her tiny shoulder. Archana need to graduate as an actress to take up any role with substance. Kunchako Boban is trying his best to look like and act like a college student. Veterans like Mukesh and Lalu Alex have nothing exceptional to do.

This movie is getting ample attention and is is going to be another successfull in Malayalam as the subject and the presentation is loved by the malayalee family world wide. The society is looking for such good movies rather than purely commercial cinema.

It is the second movie for the director Jeethu Joseph with different subject than the first one. It may be the title and the story line which is doing the magic.

Prakash Jha’s much talked out film ‘Raajneeti’ has finally obtained a UA certificate. He agreed to do away some very important scenes, including Arjun Rampal and Katrina Kaif’s “aesthetically shot love making scene” that director Prakash Jha says was “absolutely essential”, being edited out.

“It was a very aesthetically shot love making scene. Arjun and Katrina are two very attractive bollywood people. And they made love to the camera. The Tribunal (Film Certification Appellate Tribunal) felt it was a bit too open for a ‘UA’ audience. I didn’t argue,” Jha explained us.
Jha’s weeklong struggle with the censor board ended Wednesday with the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal in New Delhi viewing ‘Raajneeti’ and granting it a ‘UA’ certificate.

The director had challenged the censor board’s evaluation earlier last week to grant ‘Raajneeti’ an ‘A’ certificate with cuts. Jha sees the reduction of the Katrina-Ranbir love making scene as a shock.
“The love scene was certainly essential. Unlike other directors I had not shot extra footage so that the censors could take away whatever part they liked. I had shot the love making scene exactly the way it was meant to be. I’ve had to reduce it by half.

“It’s a disappointment to all of us. I’ve also had to beep out the F… word uttered by Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in two different places in the plot. Ex-justice Usha Mehra, who headed the Tribunal, suggested me to do away with the F… word. But it didn’t make a difference,” he said.

Ajay Devgn, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpai also will be seen ‘Raajneeti’. Releasing June 4, the political thriller will be the behind-the-scenes look at politics, strategies behind voting campaigns, scandals and much more.

Apparently, the censor board had earlier objected to two sequences – one showing the rigging of elections by fitting ballot boxes with specially designed gadgets and the other showing a female politician offering sex in exchange for an election ticket.

“An ‘A’ certificate brings on a specific mindset on the audience. They think the film has dishonest substance. So I favored to let the film be referred to the Tribunal,” said Jha. Also Arjun’s volatile character in ‘Raajneeti’ shouts lurid and graphic expletives Hindi at a police officer. These remain intact while the ‘f’ word is gone. Several recent Hindi films like ‘Omkara’ and ‘Ishqiya’ were plastered with expletives but got away at the censors with an A certificate.

Giving an inside statement of the scene, Tarsem said, “Poor girl. It’s the first time we have Freida Pinto and guss what, it’s a sex scene. It’s a delicate situation. We’re trying to get all of the lights out, so we can construct an intimate situation. Only 80 folks watching you and 20 of them with video!”

‘Immortal’ is a fantasy-action-drama which also stars Mickey Rourke, Henry Cavill.

Look at out for his finding of a pregnant Anushka, and his conflict with her on her discovery of his green card secret. Other scenes where he’s done really skillfully have to be the ones with Anupam Kher. Anushka is yet another revelation. Rather than going into safe mode by being stereotyped as the simple girl, she’s gone upfront and done something tangentially different than her first film in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi about 2 years ago. Her bold and casual act takes you by shock and impresses one and all- she is assurance personified.

Badmash Company is released in theatres on, the 7th of May 2010. The movie is directed by Permeet Sethi and produced by Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra and Aashish Singh. The music director of the film is Pritam Chakrborty. Many great Bollywood stars have been casted in the movie.

And the best part about the picture is despite carrying the tag of the ‘fun, fresh movie that wants to entertain us’, the film never ends up insulting your intellect, something Parmeet Sethi should be highly praised of.
