An impersonator has been using the e-mail id “katrinakaif84@hotmail.com” for the past few days. This has obviously inconvenienced Katrina no end.
Our source said, “Looks like this impersonator is obsessed with Katrina but little does he/she realise that it is absolutely unethical to send out e-mails posing as someone else”.
Katrina is quite hassled.” Katrina discovered this impersonation only last week when a media person brought it to her notice. Our source revealed, “Last week, a lady journalist called Katrina and told her that she had received an e-mail from her. Katrina was shocked because she had not sent an e-mail to that journalist. That’s when Katrina realised that somebody was impersonating her and fooling people. We don’t know how many mails this impersonator may have sent.”
Speaking from Goa, where she is shooting for Rajkumar Santoshi’s forthcoming film, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Katrina confirmed the story and said, “I clarified with the journalist that I had not sent any e-mail to her. My manager and official spokesperson have been inundated with calls from people who think that I have contacted them. I am perplexed.” Katrina added, “I hereby clarify that I have no e-mail id which reads katrinakaif84@hotmail.com. There are some facebook accounts bearing my name but I don’t have a facebook account either.”
